This set up is designed to study the working principle of Distance Protection scheme using  impedance Type Distance Relay. This set up consists of

1. Impedance relay  & 2. Meter Panel with Tx line model

• One number digital Meter ( Current, Voltage & Power) is provided as Load side
• One number of TX line model of 180km length is provided
• Current rating – max 5A & Voltage rating – max 250V AC
• One no of 5/1A CT is  provided Relay Current input
• One no of 220/110VAC PT is provided Relay Voltage input
• Provision to simulate fault in TX line model
