Transformer Protection Simulator using PC based M.F.Relay (PPS-28)

Description

This set up is designed to study the various protection scheme of three phase Transformer set up using digital type (SCHNIDER Make) power systems protection relays. it consists of

  • 3Ø /2KVA 3 phase Transformer set up
  • Power systems Protection Relay (SCHNIDER Make )
  • Meter panel with R loads& Fault simulator

Transformer : 2 KVA, 415V/415V, three phase, star-star, normally air cooled

  • One number of 3 phase transformer with primary & secondary tapings (25 , 50 ,75 ,100%)is provided
  • Capacity         :           2KVA
  • Connection     :           STAR/STAR
  • Both Primary & secondary tapping’s are terminated in front panel for simulating fault

Meter panel with R loads.

  • Digital meters are provided for transformer primary & secondary Voltage/ current measurement.
  • Load : 3 phase resistive load -2kw
  • Variable Voltage Source/3 phase Autotransformer – Variable Voltage Source : 0-415V, 8A,
  • One number of Automatic trip time measurement circuit (ATTM Circuit) is provided for Relay trip time measurement
  • Load : 415 V/10A/Phase with unbalanced facility. resistive load 1 set
  • Power Analyzer : Digital multi-monitoring system (i.e. VA, W, VAR, f, Hz, A, V) Panel mount flash type
