Digital PWM Controller for drives (PDL-02C)

Description

This PWM/Firing pulse controller is designed based on Dspic30f4011 controller and it  can be used  to generate  PWM Signals for SCR, IGBT based power electronics application like DC-AC Inverter ,DC-DC Chopper & SCR  converter based AC/DC/BLDC Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) control application. PWM output of this controller can be directly interfaced with Power Module through External cable connection.

  • Microchip’s dsPIC30F4011 16 bit digital signal controller operating at 33 ns, On chip motor control peripherals, 6 motor control PWM with programmable dead band, quadrature Encoder interface Memory (On-chip)
  • Four Number of Touch Key Provided for PWM Mode Selection
  • One number of LCD provided to indicate Motor set speed, actual speed, Duty cycle etc
  • One Number of toggle switch provided for PWM Enable / Disable selection
  • +5V 1Amp isolated dc supply provided for control circuits.
  • All are mounted in a powder coated cabinet with stickered front panel mimic diagram indication
  • 230VAC input, one number of power On/Off switch with indication
  • One number of 15 pin connector provided for PWM output to external power module
  • One number of 9 pin connector provided for Speed sensor Interface
  • 7 Numbers of test points provided in the front panel for waveform measurements
  • This controller is designed for dedicated applications such as AC, DC, or BLDC drives. It cannot be used as a general-purpose PWM controller, as it is pre-programmed at our factory based on specific customer requirements.
