Teaching Kit System by SEMIKRON
The Teaching Kit System developed by SEMIKRON is designed to facilitate research and practical experimentation in motor control and high-voltage applications. It significantly increases demonstration efficiency while reducing setup and build time.
The system features an encapsulated assembly, allowing students to safely study modern IGBT and diode-based converters in a Power Electronics laboratory environment. This design ensures maximum safety by minimizing the risk of electrical shock, providing a “Total Safety” learning experience.
Additionally, current and voltage waveforms can be easily observed by connecting CRO probes to the external terminals, enabling effective analysis and understanding of converter performance.
The SEMIKRON teaching kit system is available in the following configurations with 3 or 5 or 10kva ratings
- 3-Φ /1-Φ Rectifier + 4-Φ Inverter (4 Leg)+with or without Brake Chopper
- 3-Φ /1-Φ Rectifier + 3-Φ Inverter (3 Leg)+with or without Brake Chopper
- 3-Φ /1-Φ Rectifier + 1-Φ Inverter (2 Leg)+with or without Brake Chopper
- 3-Φ Rectifier + 6-Φ Inverter (6 Leg)+with or without Brake Chopper
- 3 Phase SRM Power Module – Asymmetric /Split dc type
- 4 Phase SRM Power Module- Asymmetric /Split dc type
- 3-Φ -3-Φ MATRIX Converter
- 3-Φ -1-Φ MATRIX Converter
- 3-Φ -MLI Diode Clamped -3 level / 5 level
- BUCK /BOOST Converter
