Diode Clamped Multi-Level Inverter Power Module (PDL-14D)

Description

This Power Module is designed to study the working principle of 3 Level or 5 Level-  3 phases Diode clamped Level Multi level inverter by using IGBT. An external Digital PWM Controller (like FPGA) can be interfaced to this power module to trigger IGBT. This power module consists of

  • 2 or 4 number of 0-150vdc supply is provided for MLI Power circuit input ( For individual power supply input)
    • Input 230VAC
    • Output 0-150VDC@ 3A
  • diode rectifier with filter capacitor (4 numbers) is provided for power circuit input instead of individual power supply input.
  • 12 or 24 Number of PWM Isolator IC (6N137) is used to isolate the input PWM signals
  • 12 or 24 Number of IGBT Driver IC (IR2112) is used IGBT Gate signal amplification.
  • 12 or  24 Number of IGBT Rating @ 1200V , 90A is provided for power circuit
  • 6 or 18 Number of Power Diode Rating @ 1000V , 50A is provided for power circuit
  • 3 numbers of Hall effect current sensor @ 25A is provided for 3Ø output AC Current measurement
  • One numbers of Hall effect current sensor @ 25A is provided for DC Input Current measurement
  • Banana connectors are provided for 3 phase ac input
  • Banana connectors are provided for Input ac source / dc source
  • Test points are provided for PWM signal and Current wave form measurements
